A castle of the family Wenckheim.
They were an Austrian family. Daniel Wenck became a noble thanks to Ferdinand the 1st in 1559. János Wenck was an abbot, Henrik Wenck a grand master of the maltese order. Agoston Wenck became a noble by Rudolf the 2nd (emperor of Rome.) Sebestyén Wenck was an artillery field officer against the Turkish forces (1658), later his descendant, János Kereszt (Cross) Wenck (1683-1711) scientist, and an MD in Gratz, Austria. He became a knight by Terezia Mária in 04. 27. 1747., and on that day he took the name Wenckheim. (Heim is home in german.) His son, József Ágoston Wenckheim the 1st, was knight of the empire, a state counsellor. He married to Mária Cecília Harruckern, and later became a knight of Rome.
